Everyone knows vaccinations do not cause autism. It is the mercury inside the vaccines that causes autism. The ADA and the federal government will not let you use mercury in teeth fillings because it is toxic to humans. Can't fill your teeth with it but you can for sure inject it into your child's bloodstream.

It's neither, Trump didn't actually say vaccines cause autism and you'd know that if you read the article, lets not turn into Reddit 2.0 too quickly. Edit to further expand: The Independent if you're not completely familiar with them are a very political far-left website and articles like this where they take quotes that sound vaguely like the point they want to make then create a false narrative based on it. I'm not saying never trust them - but never trust them when it comes to politics anymore than you would trust Stormfront for Jewish news or Guardian for feminist news.

Firstly, the "mercury inside the vaccines" is thiomersal, secondly, it doesn't cause autism.

If you're worried about thiomersal because it has mercury, then you should be worried about table salt because it contains chlorine. Thiomersal is toxic, which is why is an effective disinfectant and preservative, so you don't exactly want to fill your body with it any more than you would, say, formaldehyde.

But in case you missed it the first time, vaccines don't cause autism, and thiomersol doesn't cause autism.
