Poor Greece (no pun intended) they get fucked by their government and now they are being invaded by god knows who, likely no one who can contribute to a struggling country.

I am sure the majority of them would like to contribute and live in safety, but that's not going to happen. ISIS controls the smuggling operations. They're making tons of money and sending hoards of refugees over provides cover for sending their own people all throughout Europe. ISIS agents will work to provoke hostility between Europeans and refugees, which will result in widespread violence.

The strong survive and the weak die know go away and die quietly"........................................bring on the down votes

Agreed, however if you were in their shoes, I hope you would have at least tried to defend your homeland... especially if US tax payers had paid to supply you with the weapons and training to do so.

where are these migrants coming from and why? The article doesn't really say other than quoting a syrian teacher.

These refugees are the Islamic tribes from Syria and Iraq that are being targeted by Islamic State as part of the Muslim middle east's endless Islamic tribal warring / blood feuds that has been raging for centuries.
These are Muslims from the "loosing" side.
If the roles were reversed and these Muslim had the resources to oppress and murder their enemy tribes then the "poor" Muslim refugees would consist largely of Islamic State savages instead and we'd be referring to these Muslims as savage terrorists.
Greece: enjoy your potential savage terrorists and their violence and sex crime and their violent-rapist-pedophile culture.

They're coming from Syria and Iraq because if they stay they're going to end up dead.
