It's hardly the first bit of bias to be part of the education system. It's up to you to teach kids things yourself as well as relying on schools to do it.
I think it's kind of wrong to allow the state to educate your kids, and then be angry about what the state is teaching your kids while continuing to let the state educate your kids.

They're making it so you have to spend most of your time un-teaching your kids everything they hear in school.
Then you have to teach them to shut up about what you've taught them while they're in school so they don't get the thought-criminal treatment.
