Not surprising that he is gaining popularity when his message resonates with young people so strongly.

Why? And who resonates with you most?

DeezNuts for 2016 - Stop pretending your vote actually mattered in the first place. This country was bought/sold long ago, they own you. Might as well enjoy the show, right?

Id say Hillary resonates more than jeb, Bernie resonates better than Hillary, and they're all about guaranteed to get shit done for corporate armies.

Step 1: Push political ideology through college campuses.
Step 2: Campaign on college campuses for said ideology.
Step 3: Profit!

I think it's more appripriate to say it resonates with desperate people, people who feel they're entitled to services while making minimal contributions of their own.
[–] Xon 1 point 0 points 1 point (+1|-1) ago
I don't see how taxpaying citizens getting access to the services they fund is unfair.

Even though a majority of voters are older than 45, it is the young people who have broken this country.

Unsurprisingly this is common socialism speak. By calling anything a revolution they get weak minded people to jump on to the their cause. Sorry, I am just bitter after living in Venezuela.

Of course, sometimes revolutions does get shit done.

Bernie Sanders is popular because he is the only one willing to address Corporate Welfare.
[–] ILikeMyDogNotYours 9 points 9 points 18 points (+18|-9) ago
Hes popular because he promises people free shit. Remember folks, if they'll steal for you, they won't hesitate to steal from you.
[–] fat_pony 3 points 3 points 6 points (+6|-3) ago
Not to mention that it crushes the middle class. All of his ideas only help the poor, they raise taxes on literally everyone else.
Also he doesn't care about massive immigration. So I can't wait until my taxes are 50% because I have to pay for every Mexican and Guatemalan that can crawl across the border. Yay. Free college and healthcare for the entire American continent.
[–] captainplanet2 ago
He isn't promising anyone anything free. He wants to cut corporate welfare and give that money back to who it really belongs to, the taxpayers!
[–] ABitStiffyInHere ago
This is not true. Rand Paul, Gary Johnson (may he run), and many others have addressed this issue. The difference is that Bernie promises to solve it by increasing government which is exactly the reason corporate welfare managed to exist in the first place.
[–] captainplanet2 ago
Rand Paul hasn't really offered anything concrete, and he has voted for pork spending in the past.

I tell you, I'm GENUINELY excited, I really am, to see Bernie Sanders have true momentum. This is the one story I'm so energized by, and I know he's going to win, and shake up the wall streeters and other billionaires. Because, as I've been saying for some time now, unlike all the other pretenders, he's the real deal. He says it forthrightly and bluntly and with true conviction -- I've never been so glad, in my 54 years.

So, what material items has he promised you to garner your vote?

It is amazing how being a decent person can help you in the polls. Not erasing evidence off of your own servers also helps bolster your credibility. Amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if Hillary Clinton has already planned for Bernie Sanders to be erased in a freak "accident" sometime soon.

This seems low for him, did he forget to hire RentACrowd?
[–] hatesniggasandfags 2 points -1 points 1 point (+1|-2) ago
What else would he say? That his revolution has flatlined?
How the fuck is this even news?
[–] carlip 3 points -1 points 2 points (+2|-3) ago
another scam in a suit.
