Resistance springs up against new polices, get over it. You seem like a fatalist who passively goes along with anything, never dreaming that society can be steered by people demanding change.

Wake me up when your posts on voat, tweets and online petitions change anything. People who get upset at things online are a fucking joke.

I'm not so sure that "hatesniggasandfags" would see the social changes you listed as positive.

All those changes you mentioned are important, but they haven't had a negative effect on how we live our daily lives. If anything, they've made our daily lives better.

Just because YOU haven't been subjected to enhanced interrogation techniques, put in a Chicago blacksite jail, reduced to protesting in a "free speech zone," felt the ramifications of being on a No Fly list due to your journalism, had a drone kill your wedding precession because your 14-year-old cousin swapped cellphones with an insurgent, or felt the chilling effects of infringed free speech, doesn't mean that those are things you're justified in hand waving away. The degree to which your daily life is affected is not a suitable criteria for measuring society as a whole.

Here is a different perspective:

The frog is slowly boiling. If things could remain as they have been in 2015 for the next few decades, that would be great.

But the current situation is not static. What you see measured is not static. It is the tendencies, where things are going, in light of the historical record that we have, that are important.

You might be lucky enough to have lived most of your life in relative peace. You can thank your ancestors who worked hard for it; or if you worked particularly hard, sure, give yourself a pat on the back.

The lefties gave you infinite amounts of free sex and entertainment, and removed most forms of repression and social checks. You gave away the freedoms, systems, and institutions that ensure a stable, working society so that you can grow happy and content.

You are forty. Chances are good you will be around and at your most vulnerable when you have to lie in the bed you made. I do hope I am wrong about this.
