I'll take it. We've got ports, military bases, and probably more guns than the rest of the country. Not to mention a fair number of northern states will say "leave me out of it" if it comes to civil war. More likely "how do we go with them?"

Some Southern senators back in the day did a good job of shifting military bases to the South. Good foresight.

If a land connection can be made via Utah or Colorado, I can see Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota joining in.

SD is already there my man. So ND, MT, WY, ID, probably UT, NE, KS, IA, OK, MS... TN needs to get on it too, as well as IN and OH. We could effectively take all of the flyover states save for the exceptionally-cucked ones, several of which (IL, WI, MI) would probably just cut off the cancer that is their major cities and join us. Those states are almost-entirely red with the exception of their liberal cancer hubs, which almost all of them resent/lament.
