For some reason I assumed the cells of the batteries in a Tesla would be bigger.

I remember reading once they use the same 18650 cells as some flashlights and high watt vape batteries, this article says 7100-8200 18650s per car, and the model 3 and up use a bigger 2170 cell https://evannex.com/blogs/news/understanding-teslas-lithium-ion-batteries

Those batteries are serious, modern leds + drivers can blind a person easy with the output from them

I have a flashlight that pulls about 6 amps on turbo from one of those
