Yes. Rockets are really fast.
Loading them is NOT! Oh you say have the delivery capsules preloaded? If you knew what you’d need - which to be fair you probably do - you could pre-stage caches around the globe. You know sort of like we do now.
The other thing that is not quite so fast? The DAYS long holds for weather; or hydraulic leaks; or ground equipment; or any of the other million moving parts in your launch system.
And let’s not even mention that 80 tons of 5.56 ammo delivered by rocket would probably come out to about $30,000 per shot.
This makes FAR less sense than the already retarded idea of using Minuteman missiles without warheads as kinetic impactors.
