Yeah, if you happen to travel to a different country, city, town... etc without careful planning (business trip, layover, on the run from assassins... etc), chances are you will have to use Google to search for something nearby and the top results are most likely from TripAdvisor or Yelp. Google could acquire it and make it a permanent feature for a "Travel Search" option.

Do people actually use yelp? The only thing I've ever even looked at it for was to find the hours of stores/restaurants.

It's pretty handy for finding businesses close by.

Yes. I just moved to a new state and don't know a lot of local businesses so I look on there for recommendations.
