It's a Samsung electric range. We don't have gas lines in our community, but we've survived breakfast cooking oatmeal with it. Just have to get some ceramic cleaners and certain instruments. The fun part was taking out the old drop-in oven that had knobs falling off it and taking the electrical portion out. I had to fit a new plug onto it from the breaker drop and also connect the new cord. Fun stuff, but very tedious. My second big project in electrical work. My first being a light fixture.

I keep looking at those electric ones but I keep reading how cast iron cant be used on them so I keep looking at the coils.

Your wife is lucky to have you because if I had to even think about doing half of what you had to work on I would just buy a hotplate and call it a day. Kidding of course but the idea would be tempting.

I don't own any cast iron cookware, so I'm not sure. I'm using odds and ends from my dollar shopping days in Japan. Buying a house will change your life, especially when my slav wife wants to remodel. You learn valuable skills very quickly and this is the kind of stuff that makes useful people in society. Can't wait until I get to the landscaping stage of remodeling. I had to teach myself how to reinforce counter tops last night. The drill has never been so fun to use. I miss those shows where white people were building houses without all the fags jumping in and gaying up the show.
