No I don't. I believe they will always try, because it's in their own self interest to try to lock out smaller competitors via excessive regulation that only bigger companies can afford to comply with (Example: Obamacare)
If government is strictly reduced to very specific functions and there is no mechanism by which to expand their powers then attempting to control government would be pointless.

It's almost as if big government with the power to pick winners and losers in the market leads to corruption. Who would have thought?
But of course the only solution to this is an even bigger government. That will fix it.
