While millenials may be more educated (more college grads), they are more poorly educated. The increased numbers of unprepared and underqualified college entrants has lead to grade inflation and reduced levels of competency and expertise. While not the sole factor, it remains significant in determining their earning power.
I would definitely agree with this statement, grade inflation is real and it's a problem when quality isn't very standardized across classes and institutions.
