Yep. They say it gives them probable cause and I'm sure most courts would back them up unfortunately.

Probable cause requires clear, articulable evidence observed directly by the officer. I'm not disagreeing with you that government courts will protect their government employees. But the 4th amendment and privacy rights should never be denied for hearsay.
