Germany is a great country of people. A country that really shows it can learn from and grow from it's past--no matter how unsettling and painful it is to accept the past.

Japan, on the other hand, I have no idea why people give them so much credit. They have large groups of fascists/nationalists who demand removal of Japan's dark history. They deny the Rape Of Nanking ever happened. ... And now they're starting to build a military.

Any country that refuses to accept the wrongs of the past is going to commit them again.

I would not be surprised to see the next "Big War" in the world started between China and Japan, with Russia and the USA fighting large proxy wars.
