Clarkson is racist, bigoted, elitist and prone to throwing temper tantrums.....but I watched their show all the time, made me laugh.

Plus in America, a lot of our celebs in the reality TV market are famous because they are terrible people in various ways.

Which is what makes the show great. If you want to watch diluted politically correct bullshit you have plenty of shitty boring TV shows to choose from.

I am a little worried about how good the new show will be. I am not sure how much of the old show was their actual interactions or brilliant scripting from the BBC. I guess we'll see soon enough. Either way this is good news. Can't wait to see it.

If they can afford to hire Clarkson, Hammond and May then they can afford to hire whoever wrote for them too.

Pretty sure that the Top Gear hosts and Doctor Who are the only BBC employees not just getting paid in crumpets and massage vouchers.

They are bringing along many of the producers and most likely writers who left with them. It just wasn't the three hosts that left. And much of the comedy was editing together all the smack they talked to each other during the filming because watching their live show and twitter feeds will tell you where the magic came from and it wasn't the writers room.

Clarkson has no filter. All people are as rude and think it. He just says fuck SJW, I respect that and think he is honest and fucking hilarious.

Unless you're the production staff who is responsible for Jeremy Clarkson.

edit: Unless you like getting verbally and physically abused at your job. You know, if you're into that kinda thing. Plz no downvoaterino.

I am in no way defending his actions, and after something like that you should expect to be fired, but in no way was that a normal occurrence at Top Gear. Others have confirmed the extraordinary circumstances Jeremy was under when this happened. It was still wrong, but it's also wrong to imply that he's the kind of coworker where you have to deal with this on a regular schedule.

Depends on the pay. There's not much someone can say to me that will phase me for the right number and honestly it's not even that high. Physical though? That's gonna double the rate so we are at least up to $20 an hour.

We got fucked for years with the bullshit BBC America did to Top Gear episodes. They cut like 20 minutes. Now you guys can pirate it just like I've had to do =p

From the BBC news "The trio will front three series of a new motoring programme for Amazon Prime, with the first season to be made available worldwide in 2016."

I take that to mean, that the only peeps not viewing it will be outside the solar system. Also Amazon.co.uk has prime video as well, and look what they are advertising right now.

Congratulations for waiting. I'm not even offended, and I'm not really decrying it, but I wouldn't watch it since Clarkson strikes me as overly self-important.

That is what makes him and the rest of them so funny. Clarkson is the narcissist who gets ripped into by his two buddies who also have their own personality flaws. When one of them gets a leg up the other two drag him down with pranks and verbal abuse. It is like a very British Three Stooges.

Yeah but problem is that I wanted to pay for this to support the show and have access to it like every other paying "customer", now im resorted to go around the system just to see these turds..

Hopefully this means that Amazon has plans to expand their availability. It would be silly for them not to expand to the international audience with such an -n-demand team as Clarkson, May and Hammond.

I remember it being unconfirmed at the time that Netflix picked them up, I just forgot about the unconfirmed part after a while and took it as gospel.

The prime interface needs work. If you watch a show, you want it to play the next episode, or at least give you a button that says play next y/n? Naw, you need to back out of the page, then go back to the show list, then pick the season, then pick the next episode. Friggin' Amazon Prime.

AFAIK, you also can't choose the video quality on Amazon streaming. It just guesses as to what you connection can handle and buffers that quality. I've often had awful, 240p looking streams on Amazon, despite having a 110mbps connection.

Yeah. I'm pumped to see some more of these guys, but AmazonPrime video sucks so much balls.

Especially on Android where you have to install their version of Amazon and some shit video player. Fucking sucks...meh first world problems I guess lol

This. So much! I love falling asleep to some stupid shows but I use Netflix for that because I have to actively choose another episode on Prime.

yep, amazon likely just outbid them. they are pretty fucking loaded, after all.

maybe netflix wasn't willing to engage in a bid war when they have a solid lineup of original programming already while amazon has...mostly leftovers of reality TV.

which is still a mistake, in my opinion. Netflix does one thing, and it does it really well, yet this technology is still really young and to allow a massive company who is trying to edge their way in this contract could be a big mistake. I love netflix, but this just seemed like the perfect opportunity for netflix to really pull out the big guns.

All this is just, like, my opinion, man.
