So raw-veganism only? No post processing such as adding oxygen-di-hydrate or sodium-chloride and heating in a metal tube.
Everyone I talk to about it seems to think that natural food is just a question of common sense, but when they're pressed for details it just comes down to "whatever I'm used to."

Dude, come on.
You realize that salt is in nature, right? Don’t reductio ad absurdum if you can’t even come up with a fake example.

If we follow his instructions that's what we're left with.
Everything is in nature.

Stop being stupid, The Oxygen Dihydride (water) joke is pretty old now. NO fucking veganism is allowed either. I am a naturalist. Which should explain the venison, and trout comments. Which if you had actually been literate you would have gotten on first read.

You said "no mixing chemicals in a drum." If we actually follow that then it rules out pretty much all cooking.
Ok, so we have to include a few things that don't grow on naturally occurring plants.
Speaking of which, if bananas count as naturally occurring then we're going to be including all kinds of genetically engineered species which could not have evolved without human intervention.
