Notice how slender and thin it is, that’s how it will be able to fly supersonic creating a sonic thud rather than a SONIC BOOM.
A sonic boom is created when the air displaced by a supersonic aircraft momentarily creates a vacuum behind the plane, the air slams back to fill that vacuum, we hear it as a sonic boom.
Experimental plane is needle thin, something built for commercial use would need to be much larger, hence more boom.
