This is how I explain Gen-X to people. Latchkey kids. Raised by John Hughes movies.
I think school and life was alright for us, but the commies infiltrated the schools and lead a lot of parents to think their children's education was "similar, but different" to their own when in reality it was full of psy-op, walking wounded, victim mentality, safe-space seeking bullshit. It's crafty how much it's changed. It's almost like there is a multi-generational plan to sneakily subvert white america into communism ...
In a way I got lucky. My dad was one of the original Dale Gribbles so I get red pilled at an early age. Open dissent in the classroom was pretty common place in my school.
Later when I raised my kids I saw how bad it had gotten. I even attended a school "Gun Safety Meeting" and pissed off a lot of people when they started spouting liberal gun lies and I questioned their stats and conclusions.
Today, if I had kids in school I don't know what I would do.

I understand splitting hairs, only Sith deal in absolutes.
I am an X'r and my kids are millennials. So, that is always my perspective.
Yeah, we raised ourselves. Parents had zero interest in dealing with their kids. They were too busy trying to recreate the Sixties.
