I agree completely. A lot of the time, the officer in the a aggressive traffic stop videos are being a little heavy handed, the simplest answer would be to just comply, get your ticket and go about your day. You will never win on the side of the road. If you feel like the officer was wrong, argue it in court.

I want to draw an important distinction. Don't comply if the order is illegal. If the officer tries to do something illegal like force you to open your trunk, refuse firmly. Do not fight, but do not comply. If he reaches into your pocket to take your key to open the trunk, let him, then sue his ass.

All the police in my area say is "I smelled weed" and they can do whatever the fuck they want. I have tried to (politely) tell them "No officer, I have never had marijuana in this car. You must be mistaken." But they still see fit to take my keys and detain me for an hour and a half while they dig through all my shit.
