Eligible bachelor here (never married, ugly but “economically-attractive”, educated, etc. ): can someone remind me of a good reason why I should get married? seriously, what’s in it for me?

well everyday you come home from work your wife will be more and more brainwashed by the jew box and day time tv, so eventually she will think for NO REASON WHAT SO EVER she can do better than you.
My good friend right now going through divorce, gave his wife the 300k house she wanted in the high end neighborhood, disposable income, 2 kids. She cheats on him and she gets the house, the kids, the alimony, and child support. Marriage is for morons.

...I was recently comparing notes with some of my peers, guys who have been married once or thrice, and thus have lost their life savings several times, are paying alimony and child support and such, and apparently didn't learn their lesson, some have kids of their own, some somehow ended up financially responsible for kids they didn't sire because reasons (hint: don't date / get involved with 'single moms'), some don't have any kids but are still on the hook to foot all the bills somehow.
I have reached my FIRE goals a while back, but they have not and never will.
Funny thing is that I even manage to get laid more often than they do.
I don't get it.
