I don't have a big problem with that. Just to clarify, I'm not suggesting we deport all the current legal visa holders (expensive), just cut off the issuance of new visas (cheap). The US economy does not rely on tourists like the various countries that are most likely to end up with this sort of border closing. If a family decides to go to Florida instead of Mexico, then at least the money will circulate within the country.

We've no need to. Illegals must be rounded up and deported (killed if they violently resist), but existing nonwhite legal ("legal") temporary workers can simply have their work leases expire, with notice that there will be no extensions, so they can find lodging in another country.
