People have been asking for a list of companies to buy from instead of to not buy from. Here is one to add to the list.

It actually looks like they are going to cave. That or I can't read the article properly.

"Nonetheless we wish to express our concern on the reported allegations as they do not reflect the values of Beiersdorf, Nivea and our employees worldwide," they said, adding that now was "the right time for a new beginning in Nivea's brand management and creative work."

Nivea creams are also general-used.

As a kid I was putting it on in deep winter to prevent face/lips from freezing.

They also make a great daily use face sunscreen

Nivea Japan Perfect Water Gel Spf35. Goes on light, keeps your face young by preventive damage.

They do loads of men’s products too, perfect replacement for another company who had an ed decrying “toxic masculinity” last year. Nivea make everything bar blades afaik

They have a line of deodorants that I have found to be pretty much the only shit that won't fuck up my armpits. If you have sensitive skin, I would recommend that shit to anyone.

I had no idea Nivea was it's own thing. I thought it belonged to one of the big conglomerates. It's owned by Beiersdorf.

Its brands include Elastoplast, Eucerin (makers of Aquaphor), Labello, La Prairie, Nivea and tesa (tesa tape).

Sure beats P&G!

Eucerine is good stuff. I have a mild eczema so I do know a little about skin lotions.

Is it oily? I’m told I should use an oil barrier on my eczema?

Same. Could have sworn they were owned by Unilever or something; guess not. Time to vote with my dollars; it's getting about time to buy a new bottle of aftershave anyway.

Me as well. I have been using Nivea my whole life. Excelent product, but i thought it was owned by unilever.

I had no idea it was it's own company either... assumed it was P&G or something... If its the same company as LaPrairie then I have to give it a try, my mom uses that LaPrairie and it's the best, she asked for it for Christmas one year and I got it for her on my card not even knowing it was $600 a fucking jar. Love you mom!

More like:

"In this new campaign we take your family friendly product and spend millions of your dollars to market it to people not in your target audience."

"Will this help us sell more skin cream?"

"Skin cream?"

Well who gives a shit. "Homophobia" is not even a word. It's a verbal construct that makes a conclusion. If you think anything is wrong or unnatural with homosexual behavior, you have a mental illness - a phobia. So you and the scriptures of every major religion that has existed from the beginning of time until the present is a mental illness. Not just the Abrahamic monotheistic religions (Christianity, Islam, and Judaism), but the major pagan religions - Buddhism and Hinduism condemn the behavior as destructive to the individual, and society at large. Even the Egyptian Book of the Dead condemns it. So whatever creator you claim is by default mentally ill. And so are you for believing any of it. There is only one sort of exception to that rule. One religio-philosophical system accepts it. It's even something of a sacramental act for them. Satanism. It's used in their sex magic rituals. They are the only non-homophobes on Planet Earth. So who do you stand with?

That's what the gays most don't understand. I don't care if two men fuck each other, as long as I don't have to hear about it. I've worked with plenty of gays. But I don't need to hear about their sex lives. Think about the most successful lotion ads. They get an attractive woman and show her attractive hands. If there's another person in the ad, it's usually a child.

The gays don't get that there's a time and a place for sex. Being in people's faces all the time is not the way to go. The pride parades with a bunch of weirdos in fetish gear freak people out. They're oversexed and it's creepy.

These brands really try to be family friendly. They work to keep sex out of their materials. They want to avoid the association between their lotion and young men using it as jerkoff lube.

Yeah that's what I thought too. Pretty shitty on the ad agency to out private internal marketing discussions to the press. I hope more clients get cold feet.

More likely intending the opposite. A chilling effect.

Resist our pozzed advertising concepts and we'll drop you then publicly out you as horrible disgusting bigots!

Sacrifice one client to scare the others into line.

Can't run a company unless you have gays in your commercials

We're one step closer to state enforced homosexuality. The Slippery Slope is not a fallacy

Let us be clear supporting the gay movement means you're against the traditional family and against your own society. The family is the building block of the society at large. Without it societies are lost.
