I wonder if this is the precursor to the Cascadia fault slipping. The reason I say this - is because a couple of hours prior to that, there were quakes off the coast of Vancouver - and now lots of quakes further south in California.

Different fault system. This is 100 miles inland.

Still, the relative location of both sets of quakes made me think of that.
