South Africa’s youngsters are let down by a lousy education system.

Actually, most South Africans are trapped (let down) by their own inability to think abstractly. The system can't work when the consumers have no ability to abstract ideas. They are trapped forever living in the present. The future only exists in a very limited way. If you look at their native language, you discover there is no concept of absolute measurement of time or space. They cannot make a contract with another party because they have no ability to understand a future obligation. They can feel no remorse for murder because they cannot imagine how another human suffers. They can't use the past to learn from mistakes because the past is quickly forgotten.

Their entire life only exists in the moment. When they are hungry, they must eat. They can't plan to feed themselves in the future because that requires abstract thinking. This explains why they live in mud huts and tin shacks. They are tangible and can be duplicated. All African art exists as pictures around them. You seldom see symbols because that requires abstract thinking.

I could go on.
