How well spread is the practice of men synchronized swimming? I believe for a sport be considered on the Olympics must be fairly popular in several countries. That's one on the reasons you don't see american football on the summer games.

TL;DR. When I think of synchronized swimming, the first image that comes to mind is the routine of going upside-down in the water and sticking legs out like a pair of scissors. The messy image of a man doing that and junk flying all over the place doesn't sit well with me.

Really, how many people would even be interested in watching it? I know I wouldn't.

I've always wondered why men weren't allowed to do synchronized swimming at the Olympics. And apparently rhythmic gymnastics is women only too.
