'Feminazi' is the time tested term for these types.

Yes, however feminazi sounds a bit like an ad hominem while female supremacist is something people are more likely to see as a genuine concern.

feminazi is a very specific term, that can only be used when referencing feminists who behave like the nazis did. lying and trying to make things better for women at the cost of men does not really fall into that category. typically feminazi can be used when a feminist is talking about men in the same way the nazis talked about the jewsih people. propaganda and fear mongering about the dangers of men also fall into this category. however, this is just because it is exactly like how the nazis talked about the jewish people. (or worse of course. the nazis weren't so open about their hatred of the jewish as some feminists are about their hatred of men)

I think I'll start using 'femacist' as a portmanteau of female supremacist.

It also has the benefit of sounding like a terrible medical condition.

Points for portmanteau. It isn't often one gets to fit that word in your daily vocabulary. I also second the notion that femacist is the optimal word now.

Femacist... are those the people working in the FEMA death camps?

Can we start calling Feminists what they really are? Female Supremacists.

Only if we can call the press what it really is. Scum!. Hold on, we do that anyway and still buy that shit.

And let's not forget that she lied on her C.V. by claiming that she had a (fake) degree; yet she still has her job. That's real equality for you.

Because he was making a joke. And fuck Connie St. Louis. What a cunt. Also, how retarded is that university? University College London sounds like an academic hell hole. Can't believe they have no brains.

UCL is a funny one, it's focus as a university really is about recruiting higher fee paying students from abroad. They actually had an issue a few years back because it emerged that a) students were paying to get in rather than passing the entrance exams b) certain elements of the student body were becoming a nexus for extremism, and in fact some of their former students have gone on to attempt terrorist attacks.

That's not to say that there aren't brilliant people at UCL, but more that it has a culture that doesn't seek to challenge ideas, but rather accept people regardless of their ideas in the name of diversity. So that's what you get when you put diversity and cash cow foreign students ahead of any sorts of principles of learning.

The culture becomes a giant hugbox which allows frauds like Connie St Louis to thrive. Nobody can call her out. She's bulletproof. It's quite amusing as well - her two publications both relate to twitter, but up until recently she was featuring a young American girl's twitter handle on her about me pages rather than her own.

This is the slippery slope when you regulate speech. It becomes a commodity that can be regulated and enforced, like you would with a drug or food. Whether Tim's comments were offensive or not is not the question. The question is "who are we to regulate thought?"

Free speech is something we take for granted in the USA. A lot of countries don't have such lax laws. However, this issue is sweeping through universities worldwide, which is definitely scary. These are the ones who are supposed to be defending and taking advantage of the ability to speak your mind, not constraining it.

From their own perspective, they should have asked him to clarify his stance on his comments. If he said he was kidding and it was self deprecating humor, okay no big deal. If you believe he only pretended it was a joke to avoid being crucified, then the issue lies with the institution which stifles his ability to speak his mind. People with even the most ignorant opinions should be able to speak their minds and be corrected by a group of their peers. That's how you stamp out ignorance. You confront it instead of sweeping it under the rug and pretending it doesn't exist. Racism is a good example, racism still exists. They're all just hiding because they're scared of being destroyed by community backlash.

Again, I'm looking at it from their point of view. I believe Tim. They don't.

That's pretty much how every university in the US works.

Note that Tim Hunt's career is still destroyed and none of those who opportunistically turned against him will face the censure they deserve.

Whilst he was in the air flying back they told his wife he had to resign or be sacked. They didn't even speak to him. Then they held a review of their procedure and didn't think they should reconsider the way that they reached their decision.

How can you go through a disciplinary procedure without speaking to the person at the centre of it ? They sound like a set of cowardly shits.

Central tenet of SJW. Don't admit to being wrong, don't validate anything, don't confront actual issues/people when you can circlejerk and kick up trouble instead.

It would be nice if all the people who attacked him on various social media platforms posted public apologies directly to him. Never gonna happen.... but it'd be nice.

They got their 15 minutes of fame at his expense. Even if he was being sexist they wouldn't still care.

If sexism and racism were magically erased, many many many people would be out of jobs. Its actually against their best interests to lest these -isms die.

God forbid you make a joke about women. Because women are above all else, what kind of equality is that. If a woman makes a joke about a guy not putting the seat down I'm sure that would be fine.

Here's a story you may enjoy that happened last week.

Backstory: I had a girlfriend who went crazy and assaulted me multiple times, twice in front of police.

After 2 years, POST BREAKUP, of dealing with random property damage, phone harassment, threats, and more I finally am able to get a legit restraining order. She BREAKS THE TERMS OF IT over 10 times. She goes to jail for less than a week. Fast forward 13 months later, I get a court date to finally deal with this issue in it's entirety. I post on facebook that I'm happy I finally get to see some justice and have the possibility of being able to sleep a whole night through.

SJW (now ex) friend decided to tell me that I'm sexist. I call him out, tell him he's really being a douche and quite insensitive while showing his ideological bias. He decides to come over with whiskey and beer to talk. He fucking spends 3 hours telling me how I'm sexist and need to chill.

Can't celebrate justice against women. Can't discuss the issues I'm dealing/dealt with. Why? It's sexist.

I think it's too late now. The PC crowd can never admit defeat or that they were wrong.

They deal in shaming and in emotional manipulation.

Not fairness or facts. Reality doesn't matter.

Equality for all is the feminist chant! Surely, there will be many a feminist to stand up and help un fuck his life! Just like they did with the UVA gang rape fiasco!

I would add that the Guardian admitted to publishing Connie St. Louis's article unedited, only to "live edit" the article without making any footnotes as to the alterations. And it's unapologetic about what it calls "the pressing need for female activism."
