That proves she gave him an email address and put him in the staff directory. It doesn't prove she put him on payroll. She's an idiot, and this is fake news.

Let me fix that one for ya:

"That proves she gave him an email address and put him in the staff directory. It proves she put him on payroll. She's an idiot, and this isn't news to many, but the the fact her boyfriend in on the payroll is big news!"

According to that reply chain, it's a catch-22. Either she's breaking the rules by placing her boyfriend on her staff and thus having a conflict of interest...or she's breaking the rules solely by giving her non-staff boyfriend a government email access, which is only meant to be accessible to actual staff. So it makes no difference, she's breaking the rules, regardless of the people trying to defend her by saying "it's just an email account."

On a personal note, this single image isn't enough for me to conclusively say that there is in fact a conflict of interest, and that AOC is lying about it; we'd need further corroboration and evidence for that. But it definitely makes one suspicious, and AOC, being the lobotomized Aztec troglodyte she is, wouldn't have the ability to deftly cover her tracks on something like this.

You made a leap in logic. The one thing doesn't prove the other.

You can't get a government email without being on the payroll man. They can't issue one unless your an employee. I didn't make a leap of logic, I actually used to manage government systems. One job was for the DOJ for mortgage fraud and the other company was managing email systems for the USDA.

So please, stop talking about things you don't understand.

Don't all public servants have their salaries posted to directories? Wouldn't that settle this?
