That represents a five percent improvement in range

$3000 for a 5% increase in range. Well, if you really need that extra 5% I guess. But why does every tech publication have an article about this?

Comes out to $600 per KwH. Understand this needs to fall to $150 before EVs can legitimately compete in the mass market.

The Nissan Leaf battery costs $230 per kWh. Also, what's the basis for you saying this? EVs are already much cheaper to own and operate than gasoline vehicles.
