Our election system undermines the creation of a third party but if your going to do it start in your state with local/state elections. If successful you can spread to neighboring states and then federal elections.

That's not really the point. The idea is just to get a message out that you are willing to fight for the constitution and that others who agree are not alone

Just remember even Trump with all his money ran with one of the parties instead of going independent, Sanders who calls himself an independent ran with a party too. The two parties have a strangle hold on the system, winning as an independent will be much harder much less getting anything done.

Best strategy would be to run with a party and align with 4-5 other like minded law makers, as a block you could swing a lot of votes.
