He could have just apologized

Actually according to well established "crisis control" public relations hired experts, EVEN IF NOT TRUE, an early "sincere" apology is always mandated to put out a potential PR crisis.

So by not personally doing an apology, he poured gas all over the fire that will NOT go away.

I personally believe the right should never give credence to a brazen leftist lie and apologize to the left... but in cases of optics like this the network and the man could have mitigated this.

This could explain why the SJWs are winning if the corporations are hiring "professionals" who advise them to immediately say "the SJW is right about everything, we are so sorry!" A decade go, Legal would say you never apologize.

So I went down this rabbit hole and found a video from the independent which plays the "original" with the "doctored' and the difference is that there are 3 frames dropped in the low quality one, which if my maths is correct 0.12 seconds assuming 25 fps.

Go figure. Oh and the comments are also calling it 1984. As they play two video clips which are identical unless you play them frame by frame.

For reference average human reaction speed is 0.25 seconds.

Debunking the AP “expert“ on Acosta video.

In regards to the AP video titled “Expert: Sarah Sanders tweeted altered Acosta video” available, in particular, here: https://www.bitchute.com/video/yQSZ9RzAYL0E , featuring one Abba Shapiro as an “expert” in video processing.

This “expert” is obviously ignorant, is not familiar with the basics of video processing, common challenges and common pitfalls.

The “expert” says - “It is an internet tweet, so it is "a little bit "soft"". What he does not say is that being “soft” means, in other words, it being of poor quality and us such possibly containing a lot of other defects and artifacts aside from just being “soft”.

No audio - Because it is an extract of the video. Not a full video. Someone took the original video image, zoomed into it and cut out an area. As the one who did this was interested mainly in video, he omitted the audio simply because he did not care about it or just because it was simpler – transcoding video is rather cumbersome process and it helps to omit audio to make it easier to manage. Also, omitting audio helps to reduce the total size of the file, and size matters if you are going to post your file on the internet, so you will readily drop audio if it is of no importance, as it is here.

Anomalous blurring – Oh, this mysterious and menacing “anomalous blurring”, which is simply seeing two fields of the same interlaced video frame (read about it on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interlaced_video) in the resulting progressive video at the same time due to incorrect or poorly chosen deinterlacing settings. Happens a lot to amateur video editors.

The "frozen frames", if they actually exist (we have to take word of the "expert" for this"), may easily be an artifact of poor video processing. Not at all unusual. Transcoding irregularities. One likely reason is frame rate for the project being different from that of the imported video. Also buffer problems are possible, and multitude of other reasons. It is possible even that it was a buffering issue totally elsewhere, wasn’t at all present in the video itself and was introduced en route, for example, by the hosting platform transcoding the posted video before display.

The “expert” says - “every second there are 30 separate images”, which is true only for American standard progressive video. The interlaced video, traditionally used for television, has “fields” not “frames”, at the double rate of the nominal framerate. Thus an American standard interlaced video would have 60 fields (2x30), each capturing every other “scanline” of the image. European standard interlaced video would have 50 fields (2x25). This gives us at once technical explanation for two phenomena observed – the “blurring” and the “frozen frames”, both being artifacts of poor handling of interlaced video (blurring) with possibly a different frame rate (freezing).

"It slows down just at the right point" – You make a similar poor quality video extract in full length of the original video, and then go inspecting it frame by frame. You will find hundreds of defects. The “expert” here is concentrating only at the particular spot in the video, ignoring all the rest.

Visually I see no difference between the two videos, so it is good enough for online display, which it was obviously created for. Nothing suspicious or unusual whatsoevere.

The “expert” with his “doctored tapes” here is either not expert at all (as he does not know the usual reasons for these rather common video processing problems) or an extremely dishonest person. Any way his claims are used as the Red Herring trick to distract global audience from the main issue – a a CNN reporter committing battery against White House staff live on TV.

One thing I must say is I am surprised that AP, such a respectable organization, is indulging in the witch hunt against Trump and is posting such dishonest propaganda piece.

Thanks for a in-depth look at this video.

The expert literally having cuts around the "repeated frames" for the video in adobe premier was when I called bullshit. Even if the original video has those frames, why did he cut them there? The longer video should be one single block. Three blocks makes it look like he intentionally inserted extra frames to make it more convincing. It makes it look like this expert did the doctoring. When he said the video had been slowed down but every frame is literally at the same pacing except those repeated frames. So even with the video freezing, the speed of the actions on screen between any 2 frames is exactly the same (just interlaced).

So why did they doctor it?

So that imbeciles such as yourself would spread it far and wide. You'll never catch on. It's great fun.

I don't know man, 3 frames is nothing but loss during transfers and conversions, but the time it was removed makes me think otherwise.

But the "doctoring" doesn't actually do anything so I personally think the White House removed a tiny amount and leaked that it was doctored so the media would display the video far and wide.

I stumbled into a leftist stream.

Did you know there are this many thousands of sealed indictments against Trump and his team just waiting to be prosecuted when the hammer comes down?

Corey Lewandowski touched a girl too and he was charged with battery.

Tit for tat mirror worlds

I would strongly encourage everyone to maintain separate profiles for browsing. One where you exclusively seek out rightwing news and one where you exclusively engage with leftwing news. Watching how the search results and relevant stories change over time is a true Orwellian nightmare. No wonder people seem like they're living in alternate dimensions.

As much hate the NPC'S have against Trump. These "sealed inkikements" every raging libtard NPC would of demanded it to remove him immediately. Either President Trump is guilty of a crime or not. I enjoy the frothing at the mouth troglodytes spew their dipshittery against President Trump. Keeps things salty. When RBG retires at the end of the year the crying will be gloriously entertaining. But bring forth these charges now or they can STFU and BTFO. Obama the Black Hitler should be charged with a crime as well.

I can't believe how the focus on this story has shifted. They are focusing on this awkward exchange Acosta had with this woman and calling it an assault, when he barely touched her hand. The whole dialogue now is weather he assaulted her or not, when that isn't the issue! The problem was that he refused to shut up, when Trump told him that he wouldn't answer any more of his non-questions.

The Republicans tried to use leftists tactics and score some victim points by saying it was a physical attack on a woman, and it blew up in their face. Simply pathetic!

Actually, it was the left that shifted the arguement to, "Acosta didn't assault her. " and "The video is doctored. " The issue was that he didn't surrender the microphone and refused to let the intern do her job. Acosta said he didn't lay a hand on her. That was the lie that shifted the arguement. He did touch her and he did deny her the mic. He wanted to argue with Trump and that isn't why he was supposed to be there. Other journalists, including the Washington post have called him out on this on the past. The white house press Corp is for journalists doing journalism, not pundits have little debates. He lost his pass because he went too far, this time.

When was the last time anyone CNN let alone ALL of the MSM act professional and civil towards Trump? They are still sore losers and will never get over the election loss. They are in perpetual tantrum mode.

For anyone that doesn't want to give AP any clicks: https://outline.com/hWEPwq

Also:

Despite losing his White House pass, Acosta is expected to travel to Paris this weekend to cover Trump’s trip to meet with world leaders.

How great would it be if Acosta flies halfway round the world, scampers up to the meeting only to be turned away for lack of authorization?

I doubt he would be handy like that with a Marine guard reaching for the microphone.

He's comfortable pushing around girls, though.
