El Chapo had a bracelet that signaled where he was. They might have used that to pinpoint the exact location. Once you have that all you need is a compass and device to pinpoint his signal with equipment to do a straight line.

Well, if you think about it, they should have amazing tunneling abilities. They main profession is to move drugs into the US via tunnels under the boarder. Them being able to hit the mark so perfectly and with such efficiency shows how quickly they can setup a new tunnel. There is a lot to be learned from this.

That is the problem with putting insanely rich maniacs in prison. I would have to believe that someone in the prison system knew about this one. If someone is in a position of power in that prison system, they can more than likely be bribed for not very much money, to keep quiet. They should consider themselves lucky that they didn't have soldiers of fortune come in there and break him out
