18 an hour isn't enough to have your own apartment.

It is. Just not in California.

You shouldn't be able to live a full-fledged adult life as an entry-level fast food worker.

Having your own apartment is hardly a luxury. For many people, having your own place is a necessity for making progress in your own life. If you want to write a book, or study, or work on a web site, or make art - you should have a quiet room of your own, separate from your bedroom. It's not a lot to ask, but it is more than most people can afford now because of our corrupt Government.

My friend is a manager at a busy In N Out and makes enough to support his (white) wife and two (white) children. So while the entry level wage isn't enough, if you're working management then you are earning a decent living wage.

(8hrs*5days) = 40hrs/week

52 weeks = $37,440 per annum

÷12 months = $3,120 per month

remove 50% for taxes and that's $1,560/mo

An apartment can be between $600 and $1,200 for a studio or 1/1.

That leaves $360-$960 for food and toiletries.

18 an hour is enough to have your own apartment.

Exactly. This propaganda is designed to encourage communist shit like unions and government handouts. The whole following is just stupid lazy faggots whining about being too stupid to succeed.

I did it a few years ago on $9/hr. The poor people pity is pathetic.

It's over $35k a year. You can buy a house and live a normal, full life with that. Faggot.
