And yet Trump still uses Twitter, where his every tweet is personally groomed by twitter staff to weed out literally every positive response to create the appearance of a unanimous disapproval of him. How is it he’s noticed the bias of google but not everywhere else, including his favorite website?

[–] Rex_Phil0 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

Even if they do that, why would he stop tweeting?

[–] My_Name_is_Not_Sure 0 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago

Anything newsworthy you type into google gives nothing but MSM results. I refuse to interact with the mainstream press in anyway that gives them money.

[–] Monkstar1 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

There needs to be a setting to only show results from Non MSM sources.

I'm not super tech-savvy when it comes to search engines, but I know searx.me touts itself as being a hackable metasearch engine. Perhaps it is possible to host an instance that is specially designed to weed out MSM articles?

Donald J. Trump on Twitter: "Google search results for “Trump News” shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake New Media. In other words, they have it RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD. Fake CNN is prominent. Republican/Conservative & Fair Media is shut out. Illegal? 96% of..."

Donald J. Trump on Twitter: "....results on “Trump News” are from National Left-Wing Media, very dangerous. Google & others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news that is good. They are controlling what we can & cannot see. This is a very serious situation-will be addressed!"

This has been an automated message.

What happens when you get too big for your britches? The guberment comes in and takes over. They will find all sorts of reasons to screw google over, and the idiots over in silicon valley are going to give them an excuse.

they want to be regulated make no mistake

[–] 00001000001100110101 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Of course they do, when they get regulated, means more compliance = more laws = more regulations = less competition. When you factor in govt kick backs, special deals, and a host of features of govt control, it makes no sense for such big companies NOT to regulate.

[–] gazillions 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago

I hope you're right. I hope the gubermint screws them to death. painfully.

[–] BumbleTummy 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Both Tweets linked now dead

[–] 1812-was-not-a-tie [S] 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Yeah, it's interesting, he published new ones with changed wording, made it even harsher

[–] gazillions 1 points 1 points (+2|-1) ago

Address it should mean to declare war and kill them all.

[–] Alopix 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Addressed how? More tweets? Maybe when Twitter gets around to banning you openly you'll do something about it?

[–] speedisavirus 3 points -1 points (+2|-3) ago

It's almost like he is the most powerful person in the world, Congress is majority Republican, and he has an army of lawyers to sue the fuck out of those companies.

[–] Alopix 1 points 1 points (+2|-1) ago

Agreed, he has everything and everyone he needs. Trump has built hundreds of successful companies in only half a lifetime. He is not a man of words and "could", he gets things done. It's physically and chronologically impossible to accomplish that much otherwise.

I have no doubts whatsoever that he is capable of taking immediate and effective action.

But the more he talks without doing, the more I doubt that he's willing.

[–] Reddiggoat 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago  (edited ago)

If that were true he'd be taking action rather than bitching on the internet like the rest of us chumps. Unless it's all a distraction.
