Impossible, this judge must be under Russian mind control

[–] Cat-hax 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

The judge is a Russian bot actually, they have come far in cybernetics.

[–] toobaditworks 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

I've said this before but sometimes they allow these suits to go thru in order to purposely WIN the suit for Twitter. ln other words the Judge may be on the side of twitter (demoncrat/nwo/republiturd). This would then set a precedent with others trying to sue social media going forward. Saying that they aren't falsely advertising. But I'll wait to see the outcome. I'm always on the side of "these fuckers are up to something" when I see something that looks good coming from them.

[–] modsrcuntz 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Lmao

[–] IVIVI 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago

But, but, but ,but, RUSSIA!

[–] crazy_eyes 2 points 15 points (+17|-2) ago

Almost makes me want to go make and account quick and get banned just so I can sue them too, come on everybody

[–] PuttItOut 1 points 13 points (+14|-1) ago

That's just crazy!

[–] crazy_eyes 2 points 7 points (+9|-2) ago

Hey Putt! Don't ban me now I don't want to sue VOAT!

[–] 0Q0 1 points 3 points (+4|-1) ago

I did it and tested it. 100% controlled speech forum run by lying scumbags would not recommend.

[–] hang_em_high 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

How fast do you think you can get banned?

[–] crazy_eyes 1 points 8 points (+9|-1) ago

I have no clue, just saying nigger should do the trick, wouldnt you think?

[–] buggermeharder 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Don't bother tweeting about pedophilia. That apparently isn't enough.

[–] Pointyball 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Just tweet about Christian values. Guaranteed ban.

[–] TitanThinkTank [S] 2 points -2 points (+0|-2) ago

right, i missed that date before posting this but still, it means they can be sued NOW.

18 Jun 2018

The judge has thrown out the first amendment argument since then on section 230 grounds and only left the contractual issues intact.

[–] KuroKami 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

Is today opposite day? Or some kind of trap? Why would a judge from California ever do that?

[–] speedisavirus 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

No, opposite day was in June. When this actually happened. OP is a fag farming upvoats.

[–] TitanThinkTank [S] 2 points -2 points (+0|-2) ago

oh sorry, i didnt notice that, i got this from Minds.com

[–] toobaditworks 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

My guess is they want to set a precedent going forward to keep anyone from being able to challenge social media bans. So it looks good that they are going to court over it but if the deck is stacked they will will lose and the precedent is then set.

He found some balls

[–] allsprk 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

They must have been dragon balls cause this is straight up wish fulfillment.

[–] thelma 2 points 5 points (+7|-2) ago

This must be from a motion .... any link to memo of decision?

As I said....if your gov'ts use these social media sights, they are violating free speech....

[–] midnightblue1335 0 points 15 points (+15|-0) ago

This isn't about free speech. It's about false advertisement. Twitter claims to allow unfettered speech, while at the same time touting a ridiculous "hate speech" rule and the tendency to apparently censor users they don't approve of, which is hilarious.

Twitter has the right to pick and choose who uses their platform. They don't have the right to lie about their services, especially if the language of their Terms of Policy indicates that it's supposed to be a haven for free speech.

[–] thelma 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

But gov't agencies that use shitter (for example) enter into contracts that they know violate our free speech. The drain has been pulled .. soon these social media sites and gov't agencies will no long control our speech.

I wonder how this judgment would apply to reddit. "never intended to be a free speech platform" I think is how they may have side stepped this.

[–] 1812-was-not-a-tie 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Yeah I think it was from a motion to dismiss. Still big. Here's a more precise article, which also links to the transcript: https://www.amren.com/news/2018/06/twitter-cant-block-suit-over-white-separatists-nixed-account/

[–] thelma 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Shitter still appears to have a first amendment problem

The law is that one can control their own property. But if a property owner routinely allows free speech to occur on its property then they cannot deny free speech by one whose viewpoint they don't like.

I have complained to social media (FB/shitter/youtube) they they limit my free speech (hate speech/offensive language etc). Response? Jabberywocky...saying to contact the person who has the "account"....they are going to be sued, along with the gov't agencies that use these social media site to promote speech that the gov't agency wants....they don't want my speech

[–] Gotigoti 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Twitter deserves this!

[–] midnightblue1335 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

This is good shit. If the government was trying to go after Twitter or anyone else for not allowing certain people to use their product, that'd be fucked up- but calling them out on their bullshit seems like something the government should do.

Now if only the rest of California collectively develops 10 more brain cells....

[–] truthwoke33 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

The problem I have is almost all of these social media companies, and I mean all of them, are funded by government grants. Google and Amazon would have both shut down years ago if it weren't for the government bailing them out repeatedly. It's just "too big to fail" 2.0 only this time they were smart enough to keep their mouth shut about it so most don't realize the scam.

Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, all publicly funded, all ostensibly public property. They have ZERO justification to censor anything.
