It really is scary how easily such a large amount of people can be manipulated into thinking whatever TPTB decide.

It has been this way throughout history, however we are on something of an accelerated path now.

People have experimented with drugs for eons since they drank some fermented milk and got a buzz. Or some mushrooms that turned out not to be just dinner.

Though now with our better understanding of psychology, neurobiology, pharmacology - we are making disastrously de-humanizing drugs. People damaged by the environment (physical, geopolitical, popcultutal) turn to these drugs and do even more damage.

It is so bad it can only be by design. We have the means to improve life spans and survivability to the degree the human organism could spiral out of control. (Ted?) Suzuki demonstrated that as far as the earth goes, if Humans are a bacterium, the beaker is gonna fill up any second now.

And this race to annihilation (my race car is Whiskey) is careening down an ever declining slope just in tune with our ability, thanks to the Internet, to learn something more like the truth than any human who lived before us. We will never know the truth, if there even is an objective truth (even maths are flawed by limitations in Humans which could be considered to be imposing subjective limitations on math constructs)

We can now crowd source, immediately get a second opinion. Immediately do background research on subjects we don't understand. See kittens in adorable poses whilst making number 2.

Those who use this resource, who really learn how to use it - they will leave the earth - and the rest - the meek - shall inherit it.

Tell me you didn't just quote David Fucking Suzuki...that guy is the Al Gore of Canada...he hasn't said anything sensible in more than 20 years

Read up on the Asch Experiment.

@fellowkikepeople

"The desire to be normative."

Thanks for the name of the study. I thought the Asch Experiment was going to be the one where the two groups were divided into "criminals" and "prison guards" or maybe im thinking of the Milgram Study that we all learned about in Psych101. The Asch study is even more interesting. I wonder what the percentage would be if using a less-obvious question and answer. I can only imagine what kind of people would make up the 5%.

I use this as Red Pill intro. 70's were groovy.

Its a lot of fluff though. One of their tactics is to make their group seem larger.
