Awesome.. next time you on the phone talking to your friends about how great Trump is, and the line suddenly disconnects each time you say something positive about POTUS and then your suddenly unable to be found in your friends contact list... you can thank yourself for saying that the government doesn't need to protect free speech.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

It is not the Federal government's job to protect free speech. The 1st amendment states that the government shall NOT make a law abridging free speech.

Twitter is NOT the government, they can abridge speech if they want.

This is the exact same logic used against the Christian baker. The government forced him to bake the cake for a gay couple.

If your not ok with that then you can't be ok with the government preventing Twitter from censoring people.

End of story.

ok using your logic, I'd attack the corporations acts as laws that limit free speech then, and force changes to stop them censoring.

using a utility is completely different from baking cakes.
