Fail to see how he "lost" anything. His position is in line with conservative and libertarian stances. He even says it's up to Disney to decide that and it might make sense due to him now working for a company that caters to families. His discussion on it even goes so far as to ask why Disney didn't do their own due diligence in advance before hiring him. His argument around not firing for old tweets etc is that we all have said something stupid online (though maybe/maybe not this vile) that could get us fired if someone dug it up. Especially if what is socially acceptable changes.

Ted Cruz is right on it too. If there is any reason to believe he did any of the vile things he Tweeted he should be investigated and prosecuted.

He "lost" because he argued from a conservative/libertarian stance. The people claiming victory are coming from an Authoritarian Right and a key position of any Authoritarian (left or right) is that you NEVER play Devil's Advocate for the "other side".

Ben Shapiro is a Liberal Conservative (No, I didn't mess up there). Even if the Alt-Right is Conservative, they are Authoritarian Conservative. So, Ben Shapiro is going to be declared the loser no matter what.
