First they closed the branch that was down the street from where I live. There were nice friendly people there. The one I had to go to then, was different. There were no whites employed there, it was mainly Muslim and a couple of Mexicans. They never had more than one teller open, and if it was the one in the burka, then forget it. Best to go home and try again tomorrow. Then the news come out that BOA was refusing to do business with gun companies. I've been around guns all my life. I opened savings and checking accounts at a Credit Union. Specifically Navy Federal CU. I was in the Navy myself, enjoyed it. The employees were about 50/50 whites and Hispanic. Very very friendly. My first visit there were 3 people being taken care of by tellers, no-one in line. I got in line and another teller rushed over to the empty teller station to take care of me. Very different from what I'm used to. Better terms and rates also.It was easy to get my bill pay and direct deposits moved over, I didn't close my BOA accounts until it was all set. Anyone who still does business with BOA, please consider switching. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
