Oh.. gee.. charged with contempt of court on a public street. Yeah nothing screams corrupt judges like that. UK should have been rioting yesterday.

When lefties ask you why you need 2A to protect yourself from a tyrannical government, the British treatment of Tommy is the perfect example to provide.

for some strange reason, when i hear strange news sometimes a punk rocker song plays in my head.... What will he do if it don't go right Keep on running or stand and fight Stab the judge was his crime. Stab the judge, he's doing time Take revenge, I know I'm gonna Take revenge, you know you wanna Stab the judge .... Band? One Way System....He waits for the judge to come in With a knife for his greatest sin What will he do if it all goes wrong Keep on running but for how long

Stab the judge was his crime, Stab the judge, he's doing time Take revenge, I know I'm gonna Take revenge, you know you wanna Stab the judge Caught, just over the border Arrested for the judge's slaughter Locked away for the rest of his days Revenge was quick but it didn't pay Stab the judge was his crime Stab the judge, he's doing time Take revenge, I know I'm gonna Take revenge, you know you wanna Stab the judge.

Hate to have to play the devil's advocate here, but he didn't get sent to jail just for filming on the public street. He was filming (still) unconvicted suspects which is illegal in the UK and could even lead to acquittal of these guys. He was also violating the conditions of parole.

Yeah other people have been saying this. Problem is the court case was over. Those were bailed convicted criminals arriving for sentencing. Another problem is that Tommy was in a public space and had already checked with law enforcement to see if he was breaking the law by being there. Was given a green light Probably because it was a setup.

It was close to the end of the trial, the jury would all have to have been clinically retarded for him to influence them. He wasn't filming the accused. He read the names, which had already been released by other mainstream outlets days before.

At no point did he release new information to the public.

It's only illegal if there are reporting restrictions in place, which there were. So he was in contempt of court. Also claims to be a Zionist, but those facts are not well received here.

Yeah and weed is illegal. If your definition of right and wrong is determined by the law, you are subhuman, IMO.

UK won't do anything. Most of that cucked country agrees with the judge. They have let their country be overrun and openly want more refugees

Capitulation is in the British blood. We watch a long, painful, humiliating decline now. That's what we get.

“From a fireball we came

Crossed sea and mountain

We were drinking beauty with our eyes

We were given all to make our own

Let us be left alone

Laid the tasks and paid the price

Everything survives

Crushed and bolted all the grain

After every win what a stake we're in

Is pain better than the grave?

When, when we talk without the mend

We see red and men

Deep inside our blood begins to boil

Like a tiger in the cage

We begin to shake with rage”

~ JUDAS PRIEST

Edit, album is called BRITISH STEEL

Extra edit; the song is called THE RAGE

....hey I know Halford is gay...seems he’s the least gay of all English men

The decline started many years before most of us were alive.

And if Judge Marson wanted to keep a public attention away from the trial, he completely screwed that up by fueling an international news story with his arrest of Robinson and his sequential gag order against press coverage.

"Streisand effect."

The muslim child-grooming rape gangs are now permenantly associated with government force against its minions.

Yup. When I heard certain details, I understood why they would want a ban.

This is the sort of thing from nightmares for us, seemingly common to others from lands more enriched with culture.

I don’t want to tell my kids the details of this atrocity for fear it scars their psyche as it has mine!

...still the story must be told..over and over and over again even when people are so revolted they can not stand to listen....

Freedom of speech is being raped and all we can do is watch......, ...our tongues are nailed to a table

Actually these reporting restrictions are mostly temporary, until the trial is over. The idea is that they don't want media coverage to influence the jury or the trial in other ways. I believe in the US they try to achieve this by telling the jury not to watch te news or talk about it. You can imagine the English way worked better in times when they didn't have access to international media that doesn't follow some UK gag order.

Of course, the English system is very convenient for those who want to keep it out of the news because when the reporting resptrictions are lifted, it isn't a breaking story anymore and people are less interested in it.

In the UK they are also in the habit of keeping the name and ethnicity of the perpetrators a secret indefinitely, to 'protect sensitive communities', but if it's a white Brit they won't pass up the opportunity to let everyone know that they also commit crimes, so everyone with half a brain knows by now that unless stated oterwise, it's the usual suspects.

Exactly. It's hard to imagine that the UK authorities are this fucking inept in 2018- did they really believe they could keep this situation hush-hush by ordering a state-mandated media blackout?

We have a term for this, and you named it- the Streisand effect. It's such a known phenomena that it's baffling to think that British authorities all agreed that "Yeah, let's try to conceal this fucked up situation, that's never backfired before".

In Canada, contempt proceedings are what we call “quasi criminal” proceedings. Meaning that they are treated as criminal in nature because they run the risk of imprisonment. Meaning that they are dealt with particularly severely in terms of disclosure of evidence, conviction “beyond a reasonable doubt“, and sentencing. Nothing that transpired in terms of Tommy Robinson‘s arrest, trial and conviction complies with any form of due process in any country other than North Korea. Like him or hate him, the rule of law in countries that abide by the rule of Habeas Corpus should prevail. In this case, they failed on an egregious level. This is why I don’t have the stomach for law anymore.

I don't know about UK, but habeus corpus is effectively suspended in the US. After decades of legal wrangling and government overstep we are in a state that habeus corpus only applies to people the government agrees to give it to, thus, no habeus corpus rights at all.

With all the evidence he had to examine for this trial he was probably cum drunk. Smiling, laughing and other signs of euphoria with his pedo buddies lead to a poor decision to kidnap a fellow citizen. Only the custodial staff knows for sure.
