Won't all diet sodas do this? Purdue researchers Susan Swithers, PhD, and Terry Davidson, PhD, published their first studies in rats designed to test their theory that artificial sweeteners alter the body’s ability to regulate calorie intake.

Misleading title:
The actual study found that post menopausal women who drink 2 or more diet sodas per day are also 30% more likely to have heart attacks.
Do you know who drinks diet soda? Older women who want to watch their weight. People who are already more likely to have a cardiac event.
This study didn't adjust for that, and didn't track people who had switched away from drinking diet soda. The findings are at best inconclusive, and at worst deliberately misleading.

This study specifically looked at how it affects woman, all 60,000 participants were female. Does it affect men differently?

Diet drinks only affect those who lack the will power to eat and drink responsibly.

Another good article on the issue. Aspartame is more complex then just E coli feces. Lolz

Scary when it takes 10 years to determine this!

Aspartame is made from E.Coli waste. To me its not surprising there would be health hazards.
