This is how the OWS movement was stopped. Massive comment brigades on every website about the movement being a joke - people bought it and quit.

Edit - Example: See below.

The OWS morphed itself into a joke - funnily enough after it was taken over by SJW forces and they implemented the idea of the "Progressive Stack"system for who got to speak.

There's also some people who think the US Government (a la the FBI or other organizations) infiltrated the OWS movement and encouraged illegal behavior, which then allowed the local police to roll through with relative impunity, but I haven't seen any real sources on that. It might be part of this same project that OP linked though.

OWS got hijacked by SJW dipshits. That's what they do - they hijack and ruin everything.

But the drum circles of the 60s changed the world.

Seriously though, who could have thought that presenting an unorganized, divided front with no coherent goals would have ever worked out. No one fears disorganized labor.

The use of police provocateurs is a pretty open secret-

Pretty much anytime you see hooded "Black Bloc" goons breaking windows and starting dumpster fires... it's agents provocateur.

Wonder why they're they're never caught?

Here's one that did get caught:

Don't kid yourself - Occupy turned itself into a joke by having no leadership or unified message. I haven't liked the Tea Party since the neocons hopped on the bandwagon, but it is impossible to deny that they were MUCH better organized at their peak.

Or, better funded?

Because they were funded by big money and never a real 'movement' of any kind, they were groomed and utterly artificial. Maybe we need to stop looking for slogans and leaders and messages, because those are all what come from false movements.

The fact that you're parroting the exact language used by the MSM is extremely telling. Their propaganda was highly effective.

Next time, if you hear phrases being drilled into your head like this by the MSM, don't go repeating them.

That's because the tea party isn't a grass roots organization at all. It was started by Citizens for a Sound Economy (whose first chairman was Ron Paul) with billionaire Koch brothers money. CSE later split into Americans for Prosperity and Freedomworks Source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_Party_movement

OWS was myopic. The super rich aren't this country's sole problem. If they really wanted to make a difference they should have occupied K Street next (home of Washington DC's top lobbyist offices)

Don't the super rich heavily influence politicians by financing their campaigns for re-election?

The OWS killed itself. It had no clear, singular message, no real leadership, and at the end was nothing more than a platform for SJW bullshit. While I'm sure the government had a hand in this, they really didn't need to do anything at all since OWS was bound to implode on its own given the huge flaws in how it was managed and how directionless it was.
