I delivered food around town for some spare cash for a while and Chick-fil-A was by far the best of the fast food restaurants to go to. I don't know how they train their staff there, but whatever it is they are doing other places should take note; they are really friendly, they never fuck up the orders, and they are fast. The people working at literally every other fast food place (including Chipolte) range from terrible to pants-on-head retarded.

Yeah, it always blows me away. They just opened one near me a month or so ago and the staff are just so damn nice it makes me want to be a christian.

They start their pay at $10.00/hr. Which isn't a lot of money, but it's more than other fast food places. In-N-Out also uses this technique (coincidentally another christian owned company) and it allows them to be slightly more choosey about the employees. You don't have to smile and be courteous, but if you want to make more than your other teenaged friends you do.

Being closed on Sundays is also a big deal because it means you get Sundays off. If you're from a church-going family, it makes it a great place to work. If you don't go to church, you're still working a retail job with at least one guaranteed day off every weekend (and every week) which is still awesome.

Here they literally walk up and down the driver through lines taking orders to improve customer flow during peak hours. They definitely go above and beyond what most do
