I don't see how they ever passed Ford in the first place. There are Fords everywhere. How often do you see a Tesla?

Only a show room in Hawaii. If you bought onein this state, plugged it in, it would be charge up by HECO, which burns petroleum. Oh the irony!

Stupid investors thought this was a growth company like Facebook or Google. This drove up the price artificially. They were fooled. Real companies that sell real goods grow slowly and often don't turn a profit for years. There's a reason why Silicon Valley is all about software, it's a lot easier to turn a big profit.

Now investors are feeling uneasy about Tesla. They have tied their money up in the stock, but there's no dividend in sight! Tesla can't even make production targets, let alone compete with larger companies with better R&D departments who are rolling out EVs that are just as nice, if not better.

Read the article. Some of it is obvious though. His company runs on tax payer funded subsidies. That's his business model. Some of the subsidies are set to expire.

What I mean though is he had everyone hyphed about his cars, and enough time to actually deliver a product that people crave

Media pointing out flaws on his self-driving AI maybe? Probably a combination of things.
