I have been thinking it may be time to sell my TSLA shares and reallocate. I am less negative about their ability to raise the funds they need than the authors of this report, but I do believe it is very likely they will need to offer a price to new investors which will be unfavorable to existing investors.

As a double whammy, I expect any new debt to raise their costs (more than simply because of the general rise of interest rates). While they can back out the added costs on EBITDA, their GAAP financial statements will not be able to hide it. Again, I am less gloomy than the headline story of the article (I doubt Tesla is going to truly go insolvent and lose its equity value) but I have serious doubts the stock it will continue to perform over the next couple years adequately to compensate for the risks.
