I wish the Judiciary would start to question the constitutional basis for a deep state. We don't need inquiries, FOIA requests, or investigations. We need to cut out the fucking cancer.

This argument is perfectly reasonable as long as said reporters hold classified clearance and are willing to admit that they are in fact just another arm of the intelligence community. If they are just another arm of the intelligence community, then of course they can hold the clearances needed and of course they can release to the public whatever they wish, just as the CIA can. But as long as they are "actually" members of the public, and not just another arm of the intelligence community, as they claim, then no. Releasing something to one member of the public is the same as releasing it to all of them.
