Fun fact about Germany: according to law it is completely acceptable to defend your honor with lethal force. I guess they forgot about this law or somehow disabled it through other laws, but it's still there.

But they do. Self-defense laws include the concept of honor in Germany. (StGB, § 34) Only on paper, though. I'm not aware of anyone ever making use of that. And it only applies during the "attack", not after.
