Democracy and Free Speech go hand in hand. Free speech is how a society error-corrects, finds out what works and what doesn't work. Voters must have honest and open conversations in order to determine what is true and what needs to change. This is very basic.
If you are against free speech it is because you are against a democratic society. That is where Huffpo has planted its flag.

Huffpo is openly Socialist which can't exist without censorship so it makes absolute sense for them to think this. Any platform for speech that isn't censored immediately becomes right-wing because logical arguments always trump emotional ones

Is there an official statement that self describes the site as Socialist? I know that that's their orientation, but that's an observation only the versed can see, I'm sure normies see it as a non political/centrist website.
