Being offended by anything that isn't an offense is a proof of being too easily offended.

People being offended offends me. They'll be showing up at your house soon to remove your guns for wrongspeak.

Gonna throw it out there that being offended is always a personal failing. Offense is a feeling of cognitive dissonance, of things not being the way one expects them to be. It is a feeling that is a consequence of ignorance being challenged, of, for example, being exposed to the fact that a person does not share the same verbal taboos.

Mostly agree. There is a certain border that should not be crossed, for example a deliberate deeply personal attack that you know will hit severely. Let's say a woman recently lost her child to cancer and you crack a dead child joke in an attempt to make her feel like crap - that's simply unacceptable. Otherwise, being called stupid, a snowflake, an asshole or even just disagreeing as an "offense" - well no; only thing to say to people who are offended by this is "grow up, you petulant child".
