Do that math again and include mining the minerals for the batteries. From cradle to grave. The internal combustion engine still is more efficient and effective. I will say it’s getting very close now and this type of RnD has been helping significantly

Do the math again and include extracting oil products, refinement, and transportation. Down with oil.

Here's the thing. Unless you eliminate plastic, wax, fertilizer well here's a list, you're going to mine oil anyway. The byproducts of batteries do not have other purposes and actually use volatile chemicals in the processing as well as dangerous mining practices. I wouldnt have said it if this argument hadn't been brought up a dozen times and won. Electric motors are brilliant.
So take this with you: I'm not knocking them and without this type of development we wouldnt be were we are today. But; the truth of it is, The Prius, is one of the most filthiest vehicles on the road second to the full blown electric vehicles TODAY. tomorrow, could be different.

Someone do some math already!

We've got to build the shitty ones to make it easier to figure out ways to refine them and make them better, yep.

Absolutely. This is why I said it.
