Do that math again and include mining the minerals for the batteries. From cradle to grave. The internal combustion engine still is more efficient and effective. I will say it’s getting very close now and this type of RnD has been helping significantly

Yup. It's also not accounting for the energy required to get fuel out of the ground, transport it, refine it, and transport that.
